Hunting Management Directorate
• assists the Agency Chairperson in carrying out the state policy in the field of game-keeping and hunting;
• coordinates and controls: a) the organisation of hunting enterprises; b) the management, protection and use of game; c) the acquisition and exercise of hunting rights; d) the carrying out of organised hunting tourism; e) trade in game and game products;
• organises the preparation and controls the implementation of projects, plans and programmes related to the management, use and protection of game;
• participates in the drafting standards related to game-management and hunting;
• participates in the adoption of financial plans of state enterprises related to game management activities;
• carries out analyses and estimates and drafts programmes for the development of game management;
• organises and controls the production of reproductive material for fish incubators, and the production of small game to be populated in state forestry enterprises and state hunting management;
• participates in activities related to the preparation and award of management projects and control the implementation;
• organises and participates in the development of training programmes and qualification of game management staft;
• controls and coordinates the activities of structures and specialised territorial units of the Agency, as well as of state hunting enterprises;
• participates in the programming, implementation and monitoring of programmes financed by the Payment Agency in the field of game management and amateur fishing;
• keeps and stores the following registers: a) register of certificates for selective shooting and hunting guides; b) register of hunting licenses issued to foreign nationals; c) a register on the results of annual game counting; d) a register of hunting licenses issued for scientific and research purposes; e) a register of categorised hunting facilities.
